Stepa piece of living history. Pension Der Steinbock is a 300-year-old Tyrolean farmhouse in the quiet Rafalt area of St. Jakob am Arlberg, welcoming guests for almost a century. The ski bus stops right outside the door. Free WiFi and free parking are included.
The rooms feature solid wooden furniture and a flat-screen cable TV, reflecting the authentic character of the house. Some rooms have private bathrooms; others share well-maintained facilities. Simple, honest, and exactly what a mountain stay should feel like.
Breakfast is a proper affair. In winter, you start your day in our two cosy Stuben right here in the Steinbock, with a generous buffet made with homemade jams and products from local farmers. In summer, breakfast is served in the main hotel building next door, giving you access to an even wider spread.
Dining options are flexible. In summer, we offer a half-board option for pension guests, including breakfast and a 3-course mountaineering menu. A fresh seasonal a la carte menu is also available. In winter, you are welcome tous for dinner at the hotel restaurant or bistro in the evenings. The warm parlour with its tiled stove and the cosy bar are perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes or the trails.
Getting around is easy. The ski lifts are 700 metres away and the centre of St. Anton am Arlberg is 1 km away. In winter, the free ski bus runs every 15 minutes from the stop right outside the house. In summer, the hiking bus connects you to the trails once an hour. Ski passes can be purchased online before your arrival.
In summer, the free Mobility Card is included in your rate, giving you access to local buses. The full Summer Card for cable cars and the swimming pool can be purchased at reception.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.
